Road Runner™ is a popular Looney Tunes™ character who appears almost exclusively with the coyote Wile E. Coyote. The hungry coyote chases the Road Runner through desert-like landscapes - but his attempts to catch the exceptionally fast bird are always unsuccessful and end with the coyote briefly harming himself. Communication between the two characters is wordless and with the help of signs, which are used to express themselves. The only exception is the Road Runner's typical "meep meep", which he uses to scare the coyote.
